Bonito fishing
The bonito(Sarda sarda sarda) is a fast tuna and a hunter of sardine, anchovy, horse mackerel and mackerel. It has a dark striped back, while its belly is silver. They can reach 80 cm in length and weigh up to 8 kg.
This fish is common in the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea. It is mostly caught trolling using sinkers and all kinds of artificial lures of about 5-10cm at a speed of about 5 knots. Larger specimens are best caught by baitcasting, drift fishing with fresh sardines. Spinning and jigging can also be used.
