Fishing with Andrea on the Salento Fishing Charter

Born in 1979, I started fishing from a boat at the age of 14 with some friends, and have always been involved in trolling with live bait while fully respecting the sport fishing ethic. I landed in San Foca (LE) in 2001, where I now practice all boat fishing techniques, including trolling with live bait, eging, light drifting, light jigging, and Big Game. Starting from 2007, Igfa Member since 2007, Igfa Captain since 2009, I am duly registered in the Seafarers' Register to practice as a Sport Fishing Instructor according to IGFA standards. Starting from 2021, I am a FIPSAS XAP instructor and I have participated in several federative projects. Starting from 2010, I am involved in competitions, at national level. With my team "The GAME" I have won several podiums and titles, including: 2018 Italian High Society Trolling Champion, 2019 Italian High Society Trolling Vice Champion (individual), 2019 Italian Society Drifting Champion and best skipper of the competition.

I have successfully collaborated with the association IOPESCOSI' realizing 3 catch and release sport fishing competitions for children, in 2009 LINEABLU (Raiuno) made a report on the event. In 2011 I filmed an episode broadcasted on SKY CACCIA & PESCA channel, for the HOT SPOT ITALIA series hosted by Matteo De Falco, where you can see some live trolling and cephalopod fishing. Starting from 2019 I have the role of PRO-STAFF for FURUNO ITALIA.
