The GT or Giant Trevally(Caranx ignobilis) is found in tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans from the Red Sea and East African coasts to Hawaii, the Marquesas Islands, southern Japan and northern Australia. It is a popping lover's dream.
They can catch up to 80 kg with a size of no less than 1.70m! They live in shallow waters although adult specimens also love deeper reefs.
