Scorpionfish fishing
The scorpionfish ( Scorpaena scrofa) lives on the seafloor in sandy and rocky areas from 20 to 180 meters deep. It can be fished in the eastern Atlantic Ocean from the British Isles to Senegal, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde.
This species can reach a length of about 50 cm with a maximum weight of about 3 kg. The scorpionfish feeds on small fish, crustaceans and mollusks.
