Grouper fishing
Grouper is the common name for different species of fish from the Epinephelinae family. By the way, sea bass also belong to this family. The preferred territory of the grouper are rocky areas, wrecks, reefs where it can hide.
Groupers inhabit all subtropical and tropical oceans of the world. They are caught trolling with downrigger, jigging and bottom fishing with natural bait (squid, sardine, ...).
There are groupers of all sizes and colors, but the largest is the giant grouper that can weigh more than 350kg and measure up to 2.5m!

It gets its name from its pronounced teeth with which it catches mollusks, squid, cuttlefish and fish. The dentex is caught trolling and jigging. It can reach a length of more than 1 meter and weigh up to 15 kg.
