Born in 1979, I started boat fishing when I was 14 years old, involved with some friends, and have always dedicated myself to trolling with live bait in full respect of the ethics of sport fishing.
I landed in San Foca (LE) in 2001, where I now practice all fishing techniques from the boat, including trolling with live bait, eging, light drifting, light jigging, and Big Game. Igfa Member since 2007, Igfa Captain since 2009, I am duly registered with seafarers to practice as a sport fishing instructor under IGFA rules. Since 2021 I have been a FIPSAS XAP instructor and have participated in several federal projects.
Since 2010, I have dedicated myself to competitions, nationally. With my team "The GAME" I have won several podiums and titles including: Italian Deep Sea Trolling Champion for Society 2018, Vice Italian Deep Sea Trolling Champion for Society 2019 (individual), Italian Drifting Champion for Society 2019 and best skipper of the competition.
I have successfully collaborated with the IOPESCOSI' association by carrying out 3 catch & release sport fishing competitions for children, in 2009 LINEABLU (Raiuno) made a report on the event.
In 2011 I filmed an episode aired on SKY channel CACCIA & PESCA, for the series HOT SPOT ITALIA conducted by Matteo De Falco, where you can see some live trolling and cephalopod fishing.
Since 2019 I have held the role of PRO-STAFF for FURUNO ITALIA.
