Fishing with Alexandre on the Valiant Sport Fishing

My name is Alexandre Coccallotto, I was introduced to different types of fishing by my grandfather when I was very young. Understanding the currents, the shelters, the behavior of the fish, makes for me this passion a respectful exchange with nature; especially with our beautiful and generous Camargue, essential for the modern man. At the age of 20, I wanted to fish all year round and, if I could, every day. My career as a Territorial Sports Educator has allowed me to develop listening skills, the ability to transmit my knowledge and today leads me to transmit values in a fishing situation. My approach is to identify, in the participants, their technical expectations, their abilities and needs, to develop their skills, to stimulate them towards success.

Discovering and developing sporting and technical talent is a priority for me. I first taught surfcasting, sponsored from 2014 to 2017 by the YUKI brand, world champion of the discipline, and I continue to transmit this technique, very rich in learning. In parallel to surfcasting, I practice and give to discover to many beginners the lure fishing from the shore and in boat in sea and freshwater. To date, this method of fishing by casting is the main one I practice along with live bait fishing. My boat for 2023, a VALIANT SPORT FISHING 6.30, equipped with a 150 hp Mercury, a MotorGuide 36 v front electric motor, a Garmin GPSMAP 1223 XSV sonar/GPS, allows me to take a leap to venture with all types of fish: from bluefin tuna with baits and live, to the search for bass, lechas, tafes and various sparids. Starting from 2017, my other boat, a Zeppelin 22Vpro, allowed me to get closer with experienced Anglers to tuna and pelamid hunts. I practice bluefin tuna fishing since 2010, as a graduate of the FPPM. I am passionate about the world of SPORTFISHING; partners, whether they are clubs, fishing stores, local entities or various brands, are enrolled in partnerships that I like to cultivate. The fisheries that I teach as a guide seek to serve above all practitioners from beginners to experts. Starting from the shore or on a boat, the participant will develop his knowledge and his visual and technical approach. Fishing with a Guide will also allow you to secure and select your equipment, maintain it and use it in complete safety. The handling and installation of the Boat's electronic assistance elements (depth sounder, electric anchor, electric motor mounts, nursery, rod holders) will be dealt with. As for the species, the coastal fisheries of the moment will be privileged, knowing that our coastline is open to very beautiful species such as milt, sea bass, dentex and other sparids. Tuna are also very present from August to the end of October. A few gilthead sea breams also made their presence felt last season. My favorite fish in the sea is still the sea bass; I spend a lot of time on the shore and on the water to play with this fishing companion. Feeling the thrill along with the participants in the pursuit of sea bass and bluefin tuna is also part of my objectives... To help the development and facilitate access to this discipline, I wish to open a Sport Fishing school in the sea for young people aged 8-18 years, with free donations, on Wednesdays from September 2023. A partnership with the local club and the community is underway.
