Croaker ( Argyrosomus regius) is a silvery-colored species popular in sport fishing. It lives in the eastern Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean in coastal waters, near mouths and lagoons. This is where it hunts cephalopods, crustaceans, sardine and mullet. The corvina can grow up to 2 meters long and weigh more than 50kg.
