Depending on the season, you could catch broomtail grouper, cubera snapper, black marlin, striped marlin, yellowfin tuna, pompano, sailfish, roosterfish, blue marlin, dorado, amberjack, and many more. On these trips, it’s common to fish by trolling and bottom fishing with light or heavy tackle.
You can take home some of the fish you catch, within legal limits. Captain Bryan can even clean your catch for you. How does that sound for fresh seafood?
If you’re traveling with the family, you’ll be happy to know that kids are welcome on board. Be sure to ask if children’s life jackets are available; otherwise, you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so no one gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 28-foot Drake center console boat that can accommodate up to 6 passengers. It’s equipped with stabilizers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. The Captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is included in the boat rental price—just come prepared to have fun! Keep in mind that some fish may have catch limits or closed seasons. Just ask, and your Captain will give you more details.
We recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen (not spray). Beverages are included at no additional cost. Alcohol is permitted in moderation, as long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Food and some light snacks will be available on board.
