Depending on the season, you might hook into Broomtail Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Pompano, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, and plenty more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You can take home some of the fish you catch within the legal limit. Capt. Bryan can even clean your catch for you. How’s that for fresh seafood?
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 28’ Drake center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
