Jack Crevalle or Jack Crevalle fishing
The Jack Crevalle (Caranx hippos) is a very popular species in sport fishing. It belongs to the Carangidae species. Jack mackerel, amberjack and giant travally also belong to this family. The jack crevalle can grow up to a length of 120 cm and a weight of 30 kg.
Lagoons, beaches, flats and river mouths are their favorite habitat. Here they feed on small fish, shrimps and cephalopods.
