Luke was born in South Africa and grew up plying the waters around Durban. During his youth, he learned to fish and in his teens worked as a deckhand on Fishing Boats. When he was in his early twenties, he bought his first Boat and started running his own Fishing boats out of Durban. He moved to Zanzibar three years ago at the age of 25 and has since worked in the Fishing guide business for local charter companies. He is well versed in different Fishing techniques including popping, jigging and trolling and knows the waters of Zanzibar, and the legendary Latham Island well.
