Fishing with Éverton on the Recife Tarpon
Recife , (Brazil)
4/5 Very well
Our Boat is designed to offer the maximum comfort to all Anglers, especially to those who enjoy Fly Fishing, as we have two huge platforms where the fly line does not get stuck (we care a lot about that). We have all the necessary accessories for you to enjoy Fishing to the fullest, such as our Electric Trolling Motors with GPS and Live Sounders. Our service is of high quality, as we have the best local Guides, all of them English and Spanish speaking, and all of them have knowledge of both Fly Fishing and Spinning Rods.

A 33-year-old fisheries engineer born in Campinas (SP), Éverton Pires is
the founder and professional Guide of Recife Tarpon. A passionate sport fisherman starting from the age of 6, he switched to fly fishing at age 13 and, since then, has devoted himself almost exclusively to fly fishing.
In 2015, he completed an internship at a salmon farm at the Irish Marine
Institute, where he was also in charge of the sport fishing division within the
company, gaining his first experience as a fishing guide.
After improving his English, he returned from Ireland and began to
work as a professional fly-fishing guide for Untamed Angling starting in 2016,
guiding mainly Americans and Europeans on the Marié-Amazon River,
home to large peacock bass.
.
Upon returning from a season on the Marié River, he founded Recife
Tarpon, the result of many hours of fishing since 2011, when he moved to Recife.
Today, he works seasonally as a professional fly-fishing guide for
Untamed Angling at the Marié, Xingu, and Kendjam River lodges,
and operates in Recife and the surrounding area with Recife Tarpon.
He has fished with fly rods ranging from #0 to #12. His
favorite way to fish is wading in search of dorados and tarpons on sight.
Starting from 2011, he has dedicated himself to saltwater fly fishing, fishing
in mangroves, on rocks, and on sandy beaches, among other locations.
