Mackerel fishing
Mackerel (Scomber scombrus) have a blue-green upper back with irregular black stripes. They are very common in the Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Atlantic. Mackerel usually measure between 25cm and 35cm.
These pelagic fish are caught on feathers, sabiki rigs, jigs and small lures. They also make excellent live or dead baits to catch larger predators.
