Bottom fishing: conger eel, pagel, snapper, sea bream, scorpion fish, grouper, sea bream.

Jigging: amberjack, amberjack, dentex, grouper, scorpion fish.

Fishing in Valencia: trolling for albacore, bluefin tuna, imperial marlin, dolphinfish. Trolling for giant tuna.

May and June: waters warm up quickly and the fish become increasingly active. There are dentex and amberjack with live bait fishing. Inshore trolling produces barracuda, bonito, frigate tuna. Spinfishing (casting) for tuna. Offshore trolling for albacore and bluefin tuna. Reef fishing and bottom fishing.

July and August: offshore trolling for tuna, albacore until the end of July. Chumming for bluefin tuna. Inshore trolling for mackerel, jack mackerel, barracuda, bonito, frigate tuna and towards the end of August the first mahi-mahi begin to appear. reef fishing and bottom fishing.

September and October: inshore trolling for mackerel, jack mackerel, barracuda, bonito, frigate tuna, dorado. reef fishing and bottom fishing.

November and December: Reef fishing and bottom fishing. Fishing for squid. Fishing for dentex and amberjack with live bait.

Visit the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, with its famous futuristic structures, planetarium, oceanarium (the largest marine complex in Europe) and interactive museum.

Venture into the old part of Valencia and visit the cathedral, discover the Barrio del Carmen which grew up between the Muslim and Christian walls and here there are all kinds of medieval buildings, palaces, stores and restaurants that you can't resist.

Valencia has miles and miles of beaches. Enjoy an authentic paella in one of the restaurants on the promenade or in the Veles e Vents building in the Marina.

Take a Boat ride in the Albufera Natural Park and enjoy its dreamy sunsets. La Albufera is the place where paella was invented.

Fishing in Valencia requires a fishing license. This license is for fishing from land, from boat and for spearfishing. The Generalitat Valenciana insists that Fishing must be for hobby or sport, without any remuneration and without profit.
