Pike fishing
The pike (Esox) is a freshwater fish, common in the rivers, canals and lakes of the northern hemisphere. There are several subspecies in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.
They can measure up to 1.5m and weigh more than 25kg. Their olive-green body - dark on the upper part and tending to white on the lower part - has elongated yellow spots. The elongated head has several sensory pores with which it detects its prey.
It is fished by trolling, spinning and fly fishing.
