Brown trout fishing
Brown trout (Salmo trutta), also known as brown trout or sea trout, actually has two variants: a saltwater Salmo trutta trutta trutta, and a freshwater Salmo trutta fario. Some experts even distinguish a third lake variant Salmo trutta lacustris.
The weight of a trout is usually around one kilogram, but there are trout (especially in marshes) that weigh more than 20 kg and are more than one meter long.
Trout eat all kinds of insect larvae and flies, which is why it is one of the favorite species of fly fishing enthusiasts. The brown trout is also caught spinning with spoons, jigs, lures, vinyls and natural bait.
