Alitan fishing

The common lanternshark (Scyliorhinus stellaris) is a species found from the British Isles, North Sea, Bay of Biscay, Portugal to the Canary Islands and Senegal. Fishing is also done in Mediterranean waters.

A nocturnal animal, it inhabits rocky bottoms and has a spectacular yellowish skin with dark spots. It can reach a length of 1.6m.
