Kappa Fishing was born out of a passion for the sea and for fishing practised with experience, technique and knowledge of the local area. We operate in the Gulf of Naples, offering professional guiding, support and sport fishing charter services, aimed both at those wishing to try this activity for the first time and at experienced anglers who want to perfect a technique or enjoy a genuine day’s fishing in one of the most picturesque settings in the Mediterranean.

Our trips are organised and tailored to suit the participants’ level of experience, the season, the weather and sea conditions, and the species available at the time, selecting the most appropriate techniques, equipment and fishing grounds on a trip-by-trip basis.

The aim is not simply to take guests out on a boat, but to offer a genuine fishing experience, during which we share the knowledge, techniques and approaches we have developed directly at sea: from preparing the tackle to choosing lures and bait, from reading the fishfinder to finding the best spots, right through to managing the various stages of the fishing process.

Fishing Techniques and Trips

Depending on the season and conditions, we can organise different types of experiences, including bluefin tuna fishing, live bait trolling, fishing for snappers and amberjacks, vertical fishing, lure fishing, bottom fishing, squid fishing and other techniques practised in the Gulf of Naples.

For those new to fishing, the trip can be organised as a proper lesson in sea fishing, with explanations and assistance throughout every stage.

For more experienced anglers, we can organise more technically focused days, concentrating on locating the desired species and using the fishing methods best suited to the time of year.

The necessary equipment can be provided directly on board, allowing even those on holiday or without their own gear to take part without any special preparation.

More than just fishing: the Gulf of Naples from the sea

Kappa Fishing remains, first and foremost, a professional fishing charter, but we know that not all guests wish to spend the entire day with a rod in their hands.

On request, we can therefore organise more flexible experiences, combining fishing with cruising and exploring the Gulf of Naples.

For example, it is possible to plan a trip that alternates a few hours of fishing with time spent cruising, a stop for a swim or a tour near the Gulf’s stunning islands, such as Procida, Ischia or Capri, subject to the itinerary, duration of the trip and sea conditions.

This option is particularly suitable for families, couples or groups of friends where some participants wish to fish whilst others simply prefer to enjoy the sea and the day out on the boat.

The experience can therefore be tailored together: from a day entirely dedicated to fishing to a more relaxed option combining fishing, sailing, the sea and a swim.

We do not offer a single standard trip.

Before setting off, we discuss with our guests their experience, expectations and the sort of day they’d like, so that we can organise the most suitable activity.

Those who want to learn can be guided step by step. Those who already fish can try their hand at different techniques and situations. Those travelling with their families, on the other hand, can opt for a more balanced day, alternating the fishing experience with the pleasure of exploring the Gulf of Naples from the sea.
