Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Sailfish, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Black Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, Bonito, Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack, and plenty more. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Miguel operates a 35' Albemarle flybridge that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. miguel has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Lunch is provided, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.
Now, come aboard the Albemarle and get hooked!
