Fishing with Ian on the Fish Whisperer

Fish Whisperer is a professional fishing charter operating out of Black River on the west coast of Mauritius, right in the heart of the Indian Ocean. Our boat, a modern 30-foot vessel built in 2020, is powered by twin 115 HP Mercury 4-stroke outboards and comfortably accommodates up to five anglers. On board, you’ll find a cozy cabin, a protective canopy, and a fresh-water shower to make your day on the water as comfortable as possible.

For your safety, the boat is fully equipped with seven life jackets, a medical box, a fire extinguisher, an anchor, and an automatic water pump. Our electronic equipment includes GPS, an echo sounder, VHF radio, and a sound system with radio and CD player. Anglers will appreciate our high-quality fishing gear, including seven Penn International rods, two jigging rods, harnesses, gaffs, ropes, a fight chair, and an extensive collection of lures suited for both trolling and jigging.
