The local waters are rich with exciting species such as Skipjack, Mahi Mahi, Gilt-head Seabream, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Atlantic Mackerel, Blue Shark, Bluefin Tuna, and many others. With a bit of luck, you’ll soon hear the shout every angler loves: “Fish on!” Depending on the weather and the captain’s judgement, you might try spinning, drifting, bottom fishing, or even a more specialized technique.
Your trip takes place on a spacious 39' Faeton motor yacht, perfectly suited for up to 12 guests. It’s fully outfitted with everything a serious fishing vessel needs, and even includes a toilet for your comfort. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are all provided. Live bait can be used as well—just check ahead of time whether it will be caught during the trip.
You’ll be led by an expert sportfishing captain with many years of experience and a notable achievement: winning the 2019 Tuna Championship in Poreč by landing a 200 kg Bluefin Tuna. You’ll be fishing with someone who truly knows the sea.
Before heading out, you may need to obtain a local fishing license. The captain can guide you on how to get it and inform you about any species that require special permits or are protected during certain seasons.
Don’t forget essentials like sunglasses, reef-safe (non-spray) sunscreen, water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
With Manta, planning a fishing adventure in Vrsar is effortless—and the experience is unforgettable. Ready to make some memories? Book your trip today!
