An immersive two-day sport fishing experience in the heart of the Sine Saloum Delta, including an overnight bivouac on a wild island.

This trip is designed for anglers wishing to fully exploit the delta’s potential, without return constraints, taking advantage of daytime, evening, night-time and early-morning fishing directly on the fishing grounds.

Fishing is the constant focus of the experience, with seamless continuity between navigation, boat fishing and shore fishing from the island.

Fishing areas evolve according to tides, currents and fish activity, allowing each key moment to be exploited, including night-time and dawn periods.

Target species include emblematic delta fish such as African snook, red snapper, barracuda, meagre and guitarfish, depending on season and conditions.

Fishing techniques used
Over the two days, several approaches are practiced:
– bottom fishing with live bait or shrimp in deep areas,
– trolling with large lures, particularly during slack tide,
– soft lure fishing worked deep on jig heads,
– shore fishing from the island in the evening, at night and at dawn.

Evening & night fishing bivouac
At the end of the day, the bivouac is set up on a wild island chosen according to the fishing area.

The evening revolves around fishing: rods set near the campfire, lines ready, bells in place, while the delta comes alive at nightfall.

Live bait can be caught at dusk using a cast net directly on site.
Fishing continues while dinner is shared in an authentic bivouac atmosphere: campfire, waiting for bites, sounds of water and mangroves.

Bites can occur at any time during the night, giving this phase a unique intensity.

Meals & atmosphere
Meals are prepared on site without interrupting fishing time.
Local delta products are highlighted, including mangrove oysters, fish and Senegalese specialties.
Meals are served seated around a table.
Non-alcoholic drinks included.

Night on the island
Comfortable bivouac in the heart of nature:
– tents with mosquito nets
– real mattresses

Dawn & immediate return to fishing
Wake-up at the heart of the delta and immediate fishing action at first light.

Guiding & equipment
Supervision by an experienced local guide.
All fishing equipment fully provided.
