How else could I start my list but talking about THE “Trophy Fish”? Probably the most wanted fish in the world, the Blue Marlin leads my list for obvious reasons: it can grow up to 14 feet and 2,000 pounds, living as long as 37 years!

Even though it’s not a short timeframe, don’t let your tight vacation days from work stop you: from March to July it’s white marlin time, which means that you can catch billfish species almost all year round!!

In 2020 half the boats in Cap Cana produced astronomical Blue Marlin catches. With 4000 billfish species released last year, the numbers of 2016 have been surpassed. Congratulations to Cap Cana, Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), the #1 Billfishery for 2020.
