Johns snapper fishing

The coral trout (Plectropomus leopardus) is a species that belongs to the same family as grouper and sea bass. This fish reaches 62 cm in length and can weigh up to 6 kg. They are found in the Western Pacific Ocean in destinations such as Tonga, Fiji, Japan, French Polynesia and Australia.

Nannygai is a species of snapper. In Australia there are several species called Nannygai.

The species protonibea diacanthus is found off the Gulf of Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, New Guinea and northern Australia. This fish can weigh up to 45 kg. In English it is called black jewfish or also blackspotted croaker.

The yellowtail kingfish (Seriola lalandi) is a type of amberjack found in the southern hemisphere. They can grow up to 180 cm. Yellowtail kingfish can be fished from New Zealand, Australia to Chile.
