To complete this style of fishing you will be required to use a fishing rod that has a good amount of flexibility at the tip of the rod to assist with repeat casting and cast length. Common freshwater targets are Trout, Salmon, Perch, Chub, Bream, Pike, Walleye, Blue Kurper and Bass.

For saltwater, you can expect to target Snapper, Kingfish, Tuna, Bluefish and Amberjack effectively.
