You can choose between doing bluefin tuna fishing, or Big game fishing for catch white marlin and blue marlin, or jigging and Light Jigging for snappers, samas, grouper, sea bass, tuna, amberjack, scorpion fish, redfish and grouper.

The best time to come tuna fishing in the Gibraltar Straits is between April and October, although the peek season is July and August.

Tuna fishing is mostly trolling as life bait fishing isn't allowed and the enormous currents would make this almost impossible. Victor & Ramon are fantastic anglers and they have the best fishing gear for you on board: Shimano Tiagra 80lb and 120lb, Shimano Stella 15000, 18000 and 20000 for spinning and jigging, radar, fish finder, outriggers and much more.

When jigging they target large dentex, pink dentex, amberjack, grouper and big snappers with plastic bait, inchiku, long blade jigs, you name it. We use to put some squid or octopus tentacles on the inchiku assist hooks which really have proven they make the difference. The people from the Tom's Catch team have tested this in person :-)
