Striped Bass fishing

The Striped Bass (Morone saxatilis) is a very popular fish found in the Atlantic waters of Maryland, Rhode Island, South Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and New Hampshire (Eastern North America). They have a silvery body with dark stripes running from the gills to the tail. Striped bass grow to 20 to 40 pounds (9–20 kg) with an average length of 20 to 35 inches (50–90 cm).
