In putting together our list of the best fishing destinations in 2021, we were faced with factors we’d never had to consider before. After a year marked by closed borders, grounded planes and mandatory quarantines, it felt key to have a 2021 list that is equal parts realistic and inspirational. When restrictions relax this summer, we’ll be back on the road looking for great places to fish.

Fishing in Croatia means fresh water fishing and deep sea fishing. Inland, anglers can catch trout fly fishing on the crystal clear rivers, carp fishing anglers target their favourite fish in the many lakes around the country.
